IL BLU is BRANCAIA’s flagship wine. Sourced from BRANCAIA’s 2 Chianti Classico estate vineyards, IL BLU is a bold and elegant Super Tuscan wine.

VARIETAL CONTENT: 50% Sangiovese, 45% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

FLAVOR PROFILE: Enticing blueberry and blackberry aromas lead to flavors of chocolate, blackberry and currant on the palate. This full-bodied blend has silky tannins and a long, lingering finish.

AGING: IL BLU is aged for 20 months in a combination of new and used French barriques with a medium toast. Prior to release, this wine spends an additional year aging in the bottle.

FOOD PAIRING: Ideal match for dark meats such as beef and lamb.
