Talbott Kali Hart Pinot Noir

Our 2019 Kali Hart Pinot Noir is a fruit-forward expression of our coastal-influenced vineyards in Santa Lucia Highlands, California. Aromas of dark plum and Bing cherry greet the nose with inviting notes of allspice and toasted vanilla. Silky tannins reveal layers of strawberry-rhubarb and blackberry with a hint of dried herbs. The finish is long and luscious with a touch of minerality.

The 2019 growing season was steady with average rainfall and warm temperatures, which produced fruit with intensely flavored grapes with beautiful acidity and balance.

Fruit for Kali Hart Pinot Noir originated from our legendary Sleepy Hollow Vineyard and Olson Ranch in the Central Coast, where the cool climate allows for longer hangtime and intense flavor development. Sleepy Hollow Vineyard is known for producing richly concentrated Pinot Noir. The Olson Ranch is located at the southern tip of the Santa Lucia Highlands, where limestone-laced soils create rich, concentrated flavors in the grapes.

Serve with roasted pork drizzled with blackberry sauce, glazed ham or creamy Brie with roasted figs.
